Returns Policy

At TACTEC, your satisfaction is our top priority. If you are not completely happy with your purchase, our returns policy allows you to return items within 30 days of purchase. Please review the guidelines below to ensure your return is processed smoothly.


1. Eligibility for Returns

  • Return Window:
    Returns must be initiated within 30 days of your purchase date. Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds or exchanges for requests made after this period.

  • Item Condition:
    To qualify for a return, the item must be unused, in the same condition as when received, and in its original packaging. Items that show signs of use, damage, or are missing parts (unless due to our error) may be eligible for only a partial refund.

  • Discounted Orders:
    For items purchased at a discounted price, a $20 restocking fee per item will be applied.


2. Non-Returnable Items

Certain items cannot be returned, including but not limited to:

  • Perishable goods (e.g., food, flowers, magazines)
  • Intimate or sanitary products
  • Hazardous materials and flammable liquids or gases
  • Gift cards and downloadable software products
  • Specific items such as visor panels, all vehicle accessories, and select tactical equipment

3. How to Process a Return

  • Proof of Purchase:
    Please include your receipt or proof of purchase with your return.

  • Return Request:
    Contact our customer support at the contact us page to initiate your return. Do not send your item back to the manufacturer.

  • Return Note:
    As our products are shipped from various warehouses, specific return instruction will be sent to you.


4. Refunds

  • Inspection & Notification:
    Once your return is received and inspected, we will email you to notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

  • Refund Processing:
    If approved, your refund will be processed and a credit applied to your original method of payment within a few business days. Please note that shipping costs are non-refundable, and return shipping fees will be deducted from your refund.

  • Late or Missing Refunds:
    If you haven’t received your refund, please:

    1. Check your bank account and credit card statements.
    2. Contact your credit card company and bank as processing times may vary.
    3. If issues persist, contact us at the contact us page..
  • Sale Items:
    Only regularly priced items are eligible for refunds. Sale items are non-refundable.


5. Exchanges

  • Defective or Damaged Items:
    We only offer exchanges for items that are defective or damaged. To request an exchange, email us at info (at) tactec.com with a photo of the damaged product. We will provide you with the return shipping address or process a refund as appropriate.

6. Gift Returns

  • Gift Purchases:
    If the item was marked as a gift and shipped directly to you, you may receive a gift credit for the return value. A gift certificate will be sent to you once we receive the returned item.

  • Non-Gift Purchases:
    If the item was not marked as a gift, the refund will be processed to the original purchaser.


7. Return Shipping

  • Shipping Costs:
    You are responsible for paying the cost of return shipping. We recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance for items over $75, as we cannot guarantee receipt of your returned item.

  • Processing Time:
    Depending on your location, the time it takes for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.
